HOW DO I SECURE A PLACE

Due to the logistics involved with an event of this scale, the limited accommodation available along the chosen route and the vast distances to travel, we have limited the number of participants accepted on this experience to a max number of 25. That’s only 25 riders and a mate to total 50. You will need to be quick to secure your place.

We accept participants on a first come first served basis and allocate accommodation preferences to those who register early. We are not able to reserve positions on the adventure by phone or email. The only way to ensure your participation is to complete the registration process and either pay the required deposit or the entire amount. Registration opens at 9.00am 1st June 2018.

We only accept Visa or Mastercard payments during the registration process. Cash or direct deposit is not available.

BIKE PREPARATION

On a vast adventure such as this it’s important to ensure your bike is up to spec before you commence this adventure. Many people take this region for granted and don’t correctly prepare their machines or themselves for the journey.

Your service intervals must be up to date and documented in the service handbook. Have any outstanding mechanical issues resolved well in advance. If your bikes service schedule falls due while on the adventure have it done prior.

TYRES

Tyre support is available both before during and after the event. We recommend you start this ride with a new Nobby tyre such as a TKC80 or similar brand. These tyres offer better grip and are built for tough conditions.

You can order new tyres during the registration process to be fitted at Northern Motor Cycles on Sunday 19th August. The purchase of any tyre does not include fitting. Fitting fee is $50 per tyre.

NAVIGATION & ROUTING

We provide a range of measure to assist you with navigating your way.

  • Route sheets / printed maps
